This site is established in April, 2011 by a Registered Nurse who has been practicing the art and calling of Nursing for over  thirty years.  During college this RN  read liberal things and was an early member of Amnesty International.  It was the '70s and being around the newly empowered Left this RN could not stomach the America-Haters, Peacenicks and SDS radicals. The boldest among them were bombing people and setting fire to buildings at a time when the country was in an economic recession. 

Well, those people, or someone like them from your college grew up (more-or-less) and make up the very core of what passes for the Democrat party of today.  They are the Obama Administration Czars, the Lefty Academics, Socialists and Soviet style bureaucrats driving the so called Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, and they are prominent in several Nurses' Unions, notably the California Nurses Association, NNU and the SEIU.  That means they can use Union Members' dues to advance political causes that are not permitted under our Constitution and which nurses in general do not support.    
The radical left are the people who are ruining Healthcare, Nursing and our country.  By exposing them and their tired, 19th Century Socialist (and Anarchist) plans to the light of day, we may yet defeat them.  Here  is a link to a very wise man's words on what we may yet do.

Do a web search for  Nursing sites--consider using the Startpage search engine because your web surfing more private than when using Google. Your  search will turn up plenty of liberal "advocacy" sites, organizations and conferences designed to shape your opinions so that you and your colleagues will support the left's extreme plans. 

Politics is the conspiracy of the unproductive but organized against the productive but unorganized. Together we can fight the Marxist neoplasm, starting among our own.

It's about time that SOMEBODY pointed out that the Democrats have a Red Problem.  Of course, when the Communists met in Chicago back in '91, they concluded that it just wasn't smart anymore to use the C-word--COMMUNIST when running for office, since they had only been able to pull maybe 2% of the vote on a good day, in Chicago.

Much better to use another word-Socialist won't do...Marxist--nope!...Progressive.  Hey!  Everybody wants progress.  To be against Progress makes one a throwback or Flat-Earther.  Perfect.  Yeah, man! We shall gather the Comrades together and call ourselves Progressives! 

And that's exactly what they did, man.  By 1992, the CPUSA had disappeared from most State ballots and by working with "real" Democrats, were able to elect Bill (and Hilary)l Clinton.  They established the so-called Progressive Caucus in Congress, giving the Socialists and Communists a unified voting block.

The Communists,  like Van Jones and Congressman Keith Ellison are behind the Obama Administration or worse yet, in the Progressive Caucus and working with the Obama Administration to ram through vile socialist programs the majority of Americans do not support. 
The Democrats and MSM are making sure (sure as they can) that it doesn't pay to come out about the issue.  Even using the C-word can bring forth a torrent of Lefty/MSM howls and personal attacks, as so recently happened with Congressman West, who was dis-invited from the NAACP Convention.  Let us hope that Congressman West will not be silenced.  Why not help this modern day Hiram Revels escape the (would be) Democrat slave chasers?
