aConservativeRN.com was established in April, 2011 by a Registered Nurse (and web site novice) who was alarmed by the appearance of communists in top union leadership positions. The site has become more eclectic since it's establishment and non-healthcare related topics are now addressed from the Conservative point of view of This RN. Rather than simply express my own unsupported opinions, red lettering indicates a hyperlink to supporting documents or information. They will usually open in a new browser window.
During college This RN read liberal things, was an early member of Amnesty International and voted for Jimmy Carter in 1976. Over time, This RN discovered the Peacenicks and SDS radicals were bombing people and setting fire to businesses when the country was in an economic recession. That made no sense at the time and in the present day we find the former '70s radicals back for another round.
These people, or someone like them from your college today make up the Commiecrat core of the Democrat party. They are the Obama Administration Czars, Appointed Lefty Academics, Socialists and overpaid bureaucrats driving the so called Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, and they are prominent in several Nurses' Unions, notably the California Nurses Assn., the NNU and the SEIU.
That means that your union's Katie Morosky wannabe and her comrades can force you to pay Union dues they will use to advance their political agenda: Marxist collectivism. The Communist form of government is anti-liberty and thus not permitted under our Constitution. AND, nurses in general do not support communism. Do You?
Are you a conservative? Be a little cautious on the Internet. Do a web search for Nursing sites--use Google just this once: Your search will turn up plenty of liberal health care "advocacy" sites, organizations and conferences designed to shape your opinions so that you and your colleagues will support the left's extreme plans. That shows you how search results can manipulated and tracked. Consider using the StartPage search engine from now on because your web surfing will be more private.
The radical left are the people who are ruining Healthcare, Nursing and our country. By exposing them and their tired, homicidal,19th Century Socialist (and Anarchist) plans to the light of day, we may yet defeat them. Here is a link to a very wise man's words on what we may yet do.
